School's Out...Teens Rock the Fetus!

Saturday, June 14th - 1:30 p.m.

We’re celebrating youth for our 46th anniversary! On Saturday, June 14th, we welcome three local teenage bands to the Electric Fetus stage. We invite you to take in a new generation of live music while we celebrate 46 years in Minneapolis.

1:30 p.m. – Platypus

Platypus, a young rock group inspired by The Clash, Devo, Green Day, The Ramones, Jack White, The Who and Nirvana, play live shows as often as they can, and they’re currently writing their own material.

2:15 p.m. – Jesse Pedersen of Spooky Ghost

Spooky Ghost is a group of young, handsome, athletic 19 year olds with a love for 90s indie rock and playing the Electric Fetus. Sadly, most of the band will be out of town on the 14th, but their handsome, athletic lead singer Jesse Pedersen isn’t afraid to tackle the gig solo.

3:00 p.m. – Stereo Confession

Stereo Confession brings their sweet surf rock jams with a slice of pop and a touch of punk to the Fetus stage. You may have already heard their single “Video Games” on 89.3 The Current. Like what you hear? Look for them at the Basilica Block Party too!
