The Beautiful & Damned is not only rapper G-Eazy’s 4th album but is also a short film. Both deal with Gerald / G-Eazy – the two characters through which he lives his life. A reference to F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel of the same name, The Beautiful & Damned shows us hung-over Gerald left having to clean up reckless G’s aftermath on a daily basis. Guests include HalseyKehlaniA$AP Rocky, and Cardi B

Republic

Vale is the fifth long-player from L.A. goth rockers Black Veil Brides. "In my opinion, this record is the most complete and exciting album we have done to date,” says Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack. "The central narrative once again finds 'The Wild Ones' characters facing the challenge of moving on from the pain and anguish of their past and looking to a new chapter in their lives. This concept is one that is near to my heart… From our inception, Black Veil Brides have stood up for the outcasts and disenfranchised. With this album, [we] hope to give you hope, fun and most importantly a kickass rock and roll record."
Taylor Swift spent her teen years and early adulthood becoming one of the biggest stars in the world – first conquering country music and then, especially with her last album, 1989, the pop universe. 1989 not only featured her most indelible hooks – love ‘em or not, you’re probably humming one right now – but a new attitude. Even pop princesses get mad as hell and aren’t willing to take it – break-ups, negative press, streaming services – anymore… And just like that her songs acquired a somewhat subversive but definitely sarcastic air that kept both tweens and middle-aged music writers on the edge of their seats. But everyone loves drama -- so, while details about Swift’s new album, reputation, are still shrouded in mystery, one thing seems certain: She’s gonna give us more. Sure, the cover of reputation looks like she’s about to deliver an early-Aughts mall-punk opera, but the album’s first two singles, “Look What You Made Me Do” and “Ready For It?” indicate that she’s a lot more interested in hip hop and glitchy RnB. And with collaborators like Drake, Kesha, and Max Martin rumored to be in the mix, reputation could be an album hell-bent on throwing some serious shade. And we’re gonna love every minute of it.

Big Machine

Mania is the follow-up album to Fall Out Boy's platinum-certified sixth studio album American Beauty/American Psycho. Mania’s lead single, "Young and Menace," an electronica-tinged industrial rock feel and is a departure from the punky rock 'n' roll sound of its predecessor, is the new album’s perfect ambassador. "There's a lyric in the song, 'trying to send the world a message, I was young and a menace' that reminded me of growing up in the suburbs of Chicago," says bassist Pete Wentz. "I felt like an outsider in my own town. It wasn't until I discovered punk rock and that community that I realized I did fit in somewhere in this world… It's hard to rationalize rage – it's hard to quantify anxiety...this song does neither, it embraces the wave."

The Coalition of Independent Music Stores (CIMS) is a group of some of the best independent music stores in America. CIMS was founded in 1995; its current membership is made up of 29 accounts that handle 47 stores in 21 states. Many of the accounts have been recognized by the music industry and their local communities for their outstanding dedication to customer service and developing artist support.

Each member is bound by its shared love of music, a reputation for great selection and customer service in its community, yet each CIMS account is as unique as the market it represents. Most importantly, CIMS member stores continually seek to challenge the jaded, color-by-numbers advertising and marketing of other retailers.
