New Shaggy out now!
After serving in the US Marines where he found his distinctive baritone sound by chanting cadences while marching, Shaggy has gone on to almost single-handedly usher dance hall music into the mainstream and, in the process, create some of the most memorable musical moments in our lives. Who hasn’t quoted his cheeky smash “It Wasn’t Me,” dabbed to “Boombastic” or hummed along to “Angel?” On his new album Hot Shot 2020 - commemorating the 20th anniversary of his 10-million selling Hot Shot album, the two-time GRAMMY award winner puts a new spin on his most beloved songs and invites special guests such as Sting and Rayvon to celebrate along. Hot Shot 2020 even includes an irresistible rendition of Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue” and Shaggy’s new world wide hit “Banana” with fellow Jamaican Conkarah.
Hot Shot 2020 is now available on import CD and vinyl.

Fontaines D.C. - A Hero's Death - Partisan Records
Barely a year after the release of their acclaimed debut album 'Dogrel' (which charted Top 10 in the UK, earned a Mercury Prize nomination, Fallon performance, and #1 Album of the Year positions for BBC 6Music and Rough Trade), Fontaines D.C. have returned with an intensely confident, patient, and complex sophomore album. 'A Hero's Death' arrives battered and bruised, albeit beautiful - a heady and philosophical take on the modern world, and its great uncertainty.
Alanis Morissette - Such Pretty Forks In The Road - Epiphany Music
The highly anticipated ninth album from the singer/songwriter. Such Pretty Forks In The Road is Alanis Morissette's first original album since 2012's Havoc And Bright Lights. The first two singles have already made waves (her voice is in absolutely peak form): "Smiling" and "Reasons I Drink"; they join "Ablaze," "Diagnosis," "Reckoning" and more tracks her fans are dying to hear.
The Psychedelic Furs - Made Of Rain - Cooking Vinyl
The groundbreaking British band’s eighth studio album and first new album in nearly three decades. Founded by visionary singer/lyricist Richard Butler and his brother, bassist Tim Butler, The Psychedelic Furs are among the most significant and lasting bands of the post-punk era, their remarkable canon encompassing seven milestone studio albums and such classic singles as “We Love You,” “Sister Europe,” “Love My Way,” “The Ghost In You,” “Pretty In Pink,” “Heaven,” “Heartbreak Beat,” and “All That Money Wants,” to name but a few. Made Of Rain sees the band returning to the fray as relevant and original as ever before, fueled by their always innovative sonic approach and Richard Butler’s evocative, masterful songwriting. Produced by longtime associate Richard Fortus (formerly of Richard and Tim Butler’s acclaimed mid-1990s band, Love Spit Love, and a current member of Guns N’ Roses) and mixed by Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, U2, Robert Plant), magnificent reiterations of The Psychedelic Furs’ distinct, desperate wall of sound, melding haunting melodies and driving rhythms with ambition, aggression, and subversive lyrical power.

The Stooges - Live At Goose Lake: August 8th, 1970 - Third Man Records
Third Man Records is excited to announce The Stooges' Live At Goose Lake: August 8th, 1970. This previously-unheard, high-quality soundboard recording of the original Stooges lineup's final performance -- recorded just before the release of their earthshaking 1970 album Fun House -- will be available on vinyl, CD and digital on August 7, 2020, nearly 50 years to the day after the performance.
Laura Marling - Song For Our Daughter - Chrysalis / Partisan
Laura Marling’s exquisite seventh album ‘Song For Our Daughter’ arrives almost without pre-amble or warning in the midst of uncharted global chaos, and yet instantly and tenderly offers a sense of purpose, clarity and calm. As a balm for the soul, this full-blooded new collection could be posited as Laura’s richest to date, but in truth it’s another incredibly fine record by a British artist who rarely strays from delivering incredibly fine records. Taking much of the production reins herself, alongside long-time collaborators Ethan Johns and Dom Monks, Laura has layered up lush string arrangements and a broad sense of scale to these songs without losing any of the intimacy or reverence we’ve come to anticipate and almost take for granted from her throughout the past decade.
Luke Bryan - Born Here Live Here Die Here - Capitol Nashville
Luke Bryan will be releasing his latest album on August 7th. `Born Here Live Here Die Here' includes the #1 hit "Knockin' Boots" and his current hit single "Whatever She Wants Tonight". In addition, both CD and vinyl sets also boast a brand-new DVD containing the complete, previously unreleased New Year’s Eve benefit concert at Paisley Park on December 31, 1987, which was Prince’s final performance of the Sign O’ The Times Tour stage show and his only on-stage collaboration with jazz legend Miles Davis.

X - ALPHABETLAND - Fat Possum Records
ALPHABETLAND is the eighth studio album by American punk rock band X. Released digitally in April 2020, it is their first studio release in 27 years and the first with their original line-up in the past 35 years. The release has received positive reviews from critics. Alphabetland was recorded across several sessions in 2019 and 2020 with producer Rob Schnapf, who has previously worked with Elliott Smith, Beck, and Joyce Manor. Even though these songs date from a time when the band's only songwriters were vocalist Exene Cervenka and Doe, all tracks are credited to all four members of X and the recording sessions coincided with the individual musicians improving their relationships with one another.
The Naked And Famous - Recover - Somewhat Damaged LTD
The Naked And Famous' album reasserts the group as one of modern indie-pop's most exciting sonic trailblazers, taking them to emotionally inspired depths, while maintaining the fresh effervescence that has led to over 600 million collective streams to date. While they have sonically mastered the art of dreamy, hook-laden synth-pop, The Naked and Famous have stuck to their guns as far as intimate storytelling. Recover is largely an autobiographical record rooted in a powerful sentiment of survival, and of the very human process of self-preservation - of saving, choosing and celebrating oneself in a world constantly trying to put us down.
Neck Deep - All Distortions Are Intentional - Hopeless Records
With this album Neck Deep wants to continue carving out their own unique space within rock, punk, and alternative music. They have no delusions of "saving rock" or being the biggest rock band out there. They just want to remain Neck Deep and be an even bigger, better Neck Deep than before. They understand their roots are in pop punk, but want to expand on their sound in their own way, taking inspiration from artists like The Beatles and Nirvana who did things their own way and still were able to be massive.
PJ Harvey - Dry + Dry Demos - Island

portal iii portal iii out on Monday, April 20th!
portal iii, featuring a trio of veteran Minnesota musicians, introduces its debut release with a self-titled double LP of four deep listening instrumental pieces. Bassist Liz Draper (who's played with everyone from the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers to the Balkan folk group Orkestar Bez Ime), had been touring with folk traveler, songwriter and guitarist Charlie Parr of Duluth, MN. The two discovered a shared mutual interest in drone and ambient music. portal iii emerged as a trio when Draper recruited former bandmate Chris Gray from doom project Up the Mountain Down the Mountain to join them on drums. With the three of them sharing a broad range of tastes and playing styles, anything was possible, but it was a need to seek out new sonic territory that led them to create portal iii.
portal iii's self titled debut was recorded over two days at Real Phonic Studio with Erik Koskinen in Cleveland, MN. Having been recorded through hail and a tornado on the rolling prairie landscape seems hauntingly appropriate for their sonic template and connection to place.
