Electric Fetus

Severoth considers their first three studio albums a trilogy, as Winterfall, Solitude and Forestpaths were crafted using the very same equipment and approach. Once that chapter was over, S. needed to make some changes, to find a new approach, new feelings and new paths to wander with his music. This led the Ukrainian musician to start over from scratch. Now, even in a country devastated by war, S found the time to describe the creative process which led to When The Night Falls. "I looked for new meanings to my music, mostly by experimenting and trying new stuff, like using pipe instruments, spending more time on melodies and more complicated arrangements, or other ways of expression. I wanted to achieve a brighter and more crystal atmosphere than before. Every now and then you can see albums about "darkness" and something negative, which only feeds your misery. I didn't want my music to be like that. I wanted it to bring some sense of hope to people, maybe even to charge them with some positive energy, to help them go through their lives. The world has enough negativity without me adding to that. I built every song so that all combined they create this journey through places of your own imagination. I wanted people to travel frozen landscapes with "Winter Sang Her Lullaby", to witness the moon over Carpathian ridges in "As Pale Moon Across Mists Wandered", to travel across the darkest paths of their own mind in "Dark Thoughts" to feel the call of adventure in "Call of Carpathians" and to behold the dance of autumn leaves falling in "When Leaves Fall..." I wanted to help them in their everyday struggles, to open the door to the world of their imagination, in which every one will have their own paths and experience". Originally released in 2018, Severoth's When The Night Falls will be available on vinyl for the very first time on July 8th, 2022.

"Available to Order" on electricfetus.com does not necessarily reflect 'in stock' at our retail location, however it means we have quick order fulfillment (generally 2-3 business days). If you place an order for "in-store pickup" or "curbside pickup" you will receive an email when your order is ready. It may take several days over a weekend or if the item isn't in stock. Orders containing titles that aren't released yet will be shipped together in full when the pre-order is released.

Customs forms for international orders are marked as "merchandise" and we are not responsible for any additional customs fees when packages arrive at their destination country. Some items on our website aren't able to be shipped outside the U.S. Foreign orders for those items will be refunded. Box sets and books may incur an additional shipping fee for international orders. You will be emailed if there is an additional charge before your order is processed. Due to new VAT laws, we are unable to ship to the UK, Norway, Brazil, and the 27 countries in the EU. Priority shipping might not be available for large box sets. We will contact orders if we can't honor priority shipping on those items and a refund for the postage will be issued.

We reserve the right to limit quantities on special items. We offer free U.S. shipping for orders of $75+ (USPS media mail for music and books/USPS first class or priority for other items)
