Electric Fetus

If there's one thing we’ve all gained over the past two years, it's Perspective.

With live music in jeopardy during the COVID pandemic, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong retreated to Wright Way Studios in their hometown of Baltimore, MD to record their sixth studio album and remind themselves of the healing power of music. Perspective’s twelve-song track list runs the gamut of their eclectic sound, from the explosive new single, “Elephante,” featuring the funkfueled force of Here Come The Mummies’ horns section, to “Indiglo,” a decade-old groovy track that finally got the studio treatment it deserves alongside silky smooth accompaniment by keyboardist Zach Gill of ALO. The national lockdown afforded them the opportunity to collaborate with otherwise busy musicians, including percussionist Jason Hann of The String Cheese Incident on the danceable track, “Move Like That,” and to add some extra textures including their first use of strings on the go-with-the-flow anthem, “Su Casa.”

Singer/Guitarist Greg Ormont adds, “Most of all, recording Perspective kept our hearts full, spirits inspired and eyes on the prize. Now, we’re finally back on a national tour with a slew of new songs and a renewed appreciation for live music and life on the road.”

If you place an order for "in-store pickup" or "curbside pickup" you will receive an email when your order is ready. It may take several days over a weekend or if the item isn't in stock. Some items on our website aren't able to be shipped outside the U.S. Foreign orders for those items will be refunded. Box sets and books may incur an additional shipping fee for international orders. You will be emailed if there is an additional charge before your order is processed. Due to new VAT laws, we are unable to ship to the UK, Norway, Brazil, and the 27 countries in the EU. Priority shipping might not be available for large box sets. We will contact orders if we can't honor priority shipping on those items and a refund for the postage will be issued.
