Electric Fetus

Mr. Morton is an armored car driver. His son is in a reformatory school being watched over by a kind-hearted guard. Three of the kids plan to rob the armored car led by Mr. Morton's son, Tommy, and a girl who is being tutored by Mrs. Morton. The gang rigged up a smoke bomb to go off at just the right moment on a deserted road. The driver pulled over to investigate and the kids jumped him. They forced him to open the back of the vehicle so that they could gas one of the other guards. This would force the third guard to make all the normal pick-ups for cash. The kids would then gas the three one more time, and make off with the dough. The getaway car was borrowed from Mrs. Morton who supposedly didn't know about the robbery. The boys manage to make it back to the reformatory in time for afternoon check-in. Mr. Morton is investigated by the detective from the Armored Car Company. He investigates thoroughly, and finally figures out the scheme. Mrs. Morton, was in on the scam, and while she is trying to make her getaway with the young girl, both are arrested. The boys land in prison for their efforts.
